All city offices and services will be closed on Monday, November 11, in observance of Veterans Day. Monday's trash collection will be on Tuesday and Wednesday. If your container is not emptied on Wednesday, please leave it on the curb, and it will be picked up on Thursday. Thank you!

The November Planning Commission meeting has been rescheduled to Tuesday, November 12, due to Election Day on November 5. We encourage you to attend these public meetings to stay informed about upcoming developments in our community.

Good morning! The September City Council meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, September 24, at 6:00 pm at District Court. The public is invited to attend. The August meeting minutes can be found here https://5il.co/2x9mr.


Due to continuous damage to the leaf pick-up machine, the City Council voted to require all leaves to be bagged for collection.

Good afternoon! We wanted to let you know that three (3) seats on the City Council are up for re-election, and two potential local initiatives will be on the ballot if enough signatures are collected on each petition.
Voter registration is available until Monday, October 7.
Early voting begins Monday, October 21, and the General Election will be Tuesday, November 5.
