Most city-sponsored events are funded through the Marion Advertising & Promotion Commission and coordinated through the Marion Chamber of Commerce. An online calendar is available for the public to add appropriate events here.
Regularly-scheduled City A&P-sponsored events include:
The Sultana Disaster Conference, the next of which will coincide with the grand opening of our new Sultana Disaster Museum
Christmas on the Square, held the Thursday evening after Thanksgiving
Christmas Parade, held the second Thursday evening after Thanksgiving.
Marion is also home of the Marion Countryside Loop - a great biking experience for any fitness level. The Marion Chamber of Commerce hosts the Marion Countryside Ride the first Saturday of each April. Visit their website for more information here.
