Trash Pick-up:

  • INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY: The Sanitation Dept. will run only as road conditions allow. When inclement weather is predicted, please be patient if your trash is not picked up on your scheduled day. We will service garbage routes as road conditions permit.

  • The City of Marion utilizes a one-arm truck for trash pick-up, meaning that cans will be picked up by the arm of the truck. Residents are asked to take extra care to be sure your garbage can is placed close to the road and out of the way from anything that would block the truck arm movement, including vehicles, mailboxes, etc. For garbage and recycling pick-up schedules, replacement trash cans, or other trash-related questions, please contact City Hall at 870-739-5410.

  • Used Tire Disposal - Tire disposal is available at the Crittenden County landfill, located on Kuhn Road, off Highway 64. Call them at 870-732-4290 for business hours and info. Tires can also be delivered to the Crittenden Co. Road Dept., free of charge, on Hwy 64 (across from Crittenden Memorial Park). Hours are Monday, Wednesday & Friday 8 - 4:30.
