The Marion Fire Department was established in 1931 as an all-volunteer department.  MFD proudly serves a population of 12,345.  We are a combination department with 4 full time (hired in 2008) and 35 paid on call firefighters.  We respond to around 750 fire, rescue and first responder calls annually.  

ISO Fire Protection Class Rating: 3.
