The City of Marion uses the following building codes per City Ordinance # 514

  • Arkansas Fire Prevention Code  2021 Edition,  Volume  I, II, III
         Based on the 2021 International Fire and Building Code 

  • 2020 National Electrical Code 

  • ICC 2021 Mechanical Code 

  • Arkansas Plumbing Code 2018 Edition 

  • Arkansas Fuel and Gas Code 2018 Edition

Completed permit applications may require additional information and therefore should be returned either in person or information called in via telephone:

  • In person, with applicable fees, to Marion City Hall, located at 14 Military Road, or

  • Via telephone, using a credit card for applicable fees, at 870.739.5410.

Payment must be received before permit is approved.
